Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years of property management experience.
• Experience with affordable housing programs like Section 8, Section 42, MHP, AHP, etc., desired.
• High school diploma or GED required; BA degree preferred.
• The Community Manager must live on-site; a two-bedroom apartment is provided.
• Must have a CA driver's license and valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations of the property are well-managed and compliant with regulations.
• Oversee move-ins, move-outs, and annual re-certifications.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; provide financial reporting and recommendations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to execute preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws.
