Job summary

Rose Associates seeks an Assistant Community Manager for our multifamily properties in Jersey City, NJ. You will support the Community Manager in day-to-day operations, resident relations, budgeting, and reporting to ensure a thriving, compliant community.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 3 years in multifamily leasing or assistant management, plus proficiency with Yardi, RentCafe, and related software. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, real estate or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of multifamily leasing or assistant community management experience.
• Proficiency with community management software including Yardi, RentCafe and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Address resident requests, complaints and inquiries, uphold contractual standards.
• Draft and distribute resident communications; liaise between ownership and residents.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable and prepare monthly reports.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs, inspections, insurance certificates, and security deposits.
• Support property management and maintenance on renovations and vendor coordination.
• Process lease administration, renewals, and enforcement with CRM systems.
• Maintain marketplace intelligence to support occupancy and retention goals.
• Be on-site for after-hours emergencies and building-wide coordination.
