Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager for its multifamily properties in New York City. You will support the Community Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure vibrant communities and high occupancy.

The role requires 3+ years of leasing/assistant management experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency with Yardi, RentCafe, and related software; NY real estate license is preferred or to be obtained within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of multifamily leasing and/or assistant community management experience.
• NY real estate license required or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Proficiency with community management software including the listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Address resident requests, complaints and inquiries per contract and standards.
• Liaise between ownership and residents; draft and send communications.
• Foster positive relationships among residents, staff and management.
• Assist in analyzing income/expense patterns, budgeting, and payables/receivables.
• Prepare monthly reports and monitor delinquency targets.
• Assist with Move-In/Move-Out scheduling and inspections.
• Support leasing demonstrations, monitor leases and renewal rates.
• Coordinate vendor estimates and review contracts for renovations.
