Job summary

Rose Associates in New York City seeks an Assistant Community Manager for multifamily properties to support the Community Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks ensuring vibrant communities.

The role requires a 3-year leasing/management track record, a degree in business/real estate, and proficiency with RentCafe, Yardi, and MS Office. Weekend availability and an active NYS real estate license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily leasing and/or assistant community management experience.
• Proficient with community management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of building operations, budgeting, and reporting.
• NY real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days; must register if licensed.
• Must have work authorization and be available weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident requests, complaints, and inquiries per standards.
• Liaise between ownership and residents; draft communications.
• Support budget forecasting and AP/AR processes.
• Prepare monthly reports; monitor delinquency under 0.5% of GPR.
• Assist with lease administration, move-ins/outs, and renewals.
