Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. This role requires leadership of personnel, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, manage budgets, lead marketing and leasing strategies, and handle resident concerns to maximize NOI and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years in housing industry.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of the housing community under Regional Manager guidance.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure effective performance.
• Develop and monitor operating budgets/forecasts and vendor invoice processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fair housing, and company policies; manage resident relations.
