Job summary

ASM Global is hiring a Command Center Specialist onsite in Detroit to handle communications, dispatch patrols, and manage records for the Public Safety & Security team. The role requires experience in dispatch, CCTV monitoring, and coordinating emergency responses in a fast-paced facility setting.

Responsibilities include answering calls, prioritizing incidents, and maintaining logs, with a shift pattern across nights, afternoons, and split shifts. Benefit-eligible employment offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education and/or security/dispatch experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in dispatch operations or call center in security or emergency services.
• Strong English communication, multitasking, and calm response in emergencies.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls; dispatch security personnel as needed.
• Coordinate patrol operations via communications and surveillance systems.
• Maintain electronic and written records for the department and center.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems; contact emergency personnel when needed.
