Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is hiring for a Command Center Operator in Kentwood, MI. This full-time role supports corporate management, field supervisors and clients 24/7 with a multi-line switchboard, background checks and payroll processing.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, dispatching staff for emergencies, monitoring CCTV and access control systems, and generating activity reports. Salary is $18.00/hour with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No felony convictions or certain misdemeanor offenses for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses.
• Impeccable grooming and professional image.
• Above average customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED and some college experience.
• Friendly, positive, professional image to clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to manage emergencies.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize decisions per policies and standards.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers, and co-workers.
• Provide information and assistance regarding emergencies and general needs.
• Dispatch personnel for emergency and non-emergency responses.
• Utilize computer-aided software for documentation and tip line processing.
• Serve as information resource for DK employees and clients.
• Process background screen requests and payroll companywide.
• Monitor anonymous whistleblower hotline and prepare client reports.
• Monitor CCTV and access control, fire and security systems.
• Prepare reports, logs and distribute files as needed.
• Support scheduling/payroll for security/event staff and fill missed shifts.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines and document daily activities.
