Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Document Administration Collateral Specialist II to manage collateral and servicing documents. The role requires coordinating with investors, vendors, and custodians to ensure timely delivery and accuracy, while maintaining system records and reporting.

The position emphasizes adherence to SLAs, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional degree preferred.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in Document Administration or Mortgage Servicing or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure requested documentation is completed within SLAs.
• Request collateral files from custodians to obtain documentation per SLAs.
• Identify and cure collateral exceptions for delivery, sales, and certifications.
• Address inquiries from vendors, investors, and Portfolio Managers promptly and professionally.
• Review daily task queue and exception reports to meet SLAs.
• Update and annotate actions in all systems and follow-ups.
• Prepare reporting for management, investors, vendors.
• Update MERS database to reflect servicing changes.
• Maintain real-time inventory of physical collateral and images.
• Identify, process, and prepare shipments of documents or full files.
• Ensure inventory entries are accurate within SLAs.
• Perform monthly inventory audits with custodians.
