Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operating Engineer to perform hands-on maintenance of critical building systems at our Richardson, TX site. You will inspect, service, and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, monitor systems, and support high‑risk environments with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in building maintenance, and Universal CFC certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum four years in building maintenance; HVAC, electrical or related trade; union training acceptable.
• Must have Universal CFC certification and basic tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical building systems.
• Operate and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment and controls.
• Coordinate with contractors; complete work orders and documentation in CMMS.
