Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection, maintenance and repair of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in Class A office buildings. On-site role with on-call rotation, requiring travel between client locations using JLL vehicle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' building maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting, customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or related trades.
• Valid driver's license required for travel between client locations using a JLL work vehicle.
• On-site work in the Baltimore/BWI area with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, DDC and pneumatic control systems.
• Respond to tenant service requests and document work orders in CMMS.
• Support emergency response activities and participate in on-call rotation.
