Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an HVAC Technician for on-site work in Gaithersburg, MD. The role supports maintenance of base building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor performance, and respond to service requests while coordinating with contractors. A valid driver's license and PPE are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade or HVAC/refrigeration trade, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely using proper PPE.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, and perform overhead work regularly.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain facility systems in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Monitor building equipment performance and adjust for efficiency.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely, professional manner.
• Conduct facility inspections and support safety procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee work by outside contractors.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and holidays.
