Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Branch Services Manager to lead a Retail Branch on-site, overseeing daily operations, cash handling, and security. You will hire, train and coach staff, drive customer retention, and ensure branch goals are met.

You will manage performance reviews, schedule staffing, and develop strategies to improve service quality while maintaining regulatory compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience with an emphasis in operations.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of banking policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch daily operations and staff, including cash handling and security.
• Develop strategies to retain customers and achieve branch goals.
• Oversee teller line, scheduling, training and development.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complex inquiries.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting for the branch.
