Job summary

Mechanics Bank in the United States is seeking a Branch Services Manager to lead a Retail Branch on-site. You will oversee cash handling, teller operations, staffing, risk controls, and customer service to meet branch goals.

You will hire, train, mentor staff; coach performance; ensure compliance with policies; manage audits and budgeting; drive customer retention and new accounts; and lead by example through daily huddles and branch meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; degree not required.
• Notary license preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of banking experience with emphasis in operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; proven experience managing and leading people.
• Knowledge of small business and consumer banking principles and practices.
• Ability to motivate employees to provide excellent customer service, demonstrate initiative, and achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch employees and daily huddles.
• Oversee branch operations, audits, and risk management.
• Schedule staff and manage budgeting for the branch.
• Provide deposits, accounts, and customer service at the branch.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Identify and report suspicious activity.
