Trane Technologies plc is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Grand Rapids, MI site. On-site work, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and output across a lean, high-volume operation.

You will lead teams, coordinate materials, drive process improvements, and collaborate with multiple department leads to meet plant goals and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Effective communication skills as a supportive team member.

Responsabilités

• Oversee overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
• Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.
• Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.
• Drive adaptability, coaching, communication, critical thinking, and leadership from day one.
