Job summary

Trane Technologies in Grand Rapids is seeking an OpEx Lean Technician to drive lean transformation and daily management in manufacturing operations. You will train hourly operators, lead rapid improvement events, and coach teams to sustain improvements.

The role emphasizes problem solving, standard work, and visual controls, with opportunities to grow through TLDP and continuous learning. On-site work five days a week with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus two years manufacturing experience.
• Associate's degree preferred with manufacturing exposure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work on-site and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach hourly operators on lean tools and processes.
• Support Rapid Improvement Events with cross-functional teams.
• Lead 5S, visual workplace, and standard work across value streams.
• Perform cycle time analyses and line balance improvements.
• Drive OpEx culture change and sustain Lean initiatives.
