Trane Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑volume lean manufacturing team, ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met while coordinating with other departments to achieve plant goals.

You will monitor daily operations, drive process improvements, and foster a collaborative culture. A high school diploma or GED and prior supervisory manufacturing experience are required; bilingual EN/ES is a plus. Hours: 6:00 am–2:30 pm.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
• Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.
• Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.
