Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controls Engineer for our Glendale, AZ facility. You will work on-site on high-speed beverage filling and packaging lines, programming Allen-Bradley PLCs and troubleshooting running production equipment.

The role requires hands-on ladder logic, 4+ years in industrial automation, and the ability to collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and throughput.

Qualifications

Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting: you write and modify ladder logic yourself.
4+ years of industrial controls on high-speed production lines.
Strong troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo/motion, and industrial networks.
Willingness to work 12-hour 2-2-3 day rotation, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated equipment.
Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production.
Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
