Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC is seeking an on-site AV Technician to set up and operate basic to large-scale audiovisual systems across customer sites. The role requires configuring endpoints, performing room audits, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.

You will work with project managers and lead technicians to ensure timely delivery, safety, and quality. Travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to terminate and test cable and fiber optics.
• Basic understanding of low voltage systems and electrical safety.
• Able to read blueprints, diagrams, and specs.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Willing to mentor Installers/junior Technicians and collaborate with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic to large-scale AV systems.
• Configure endpoints and infrastructure for AV deployments.
• Prepare room audits to ensure optimal tech performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and rooms.
• Identify defective equipment and provide solutions.
• Complete post-install assessments and user acceptance testing.
• Install software upgrades and communicate progress to management.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Plan, install, and oversee AV system projects.
