Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and support AV, access control, and CCTV systems at client sites across commercial, educational, and enterprise environments.

The role requires troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-site installation support, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality system performance. You will diagnose hardware, networking, and programming issues, communicate findings clearly, and document actions taken.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of AV or low-voltage field experience in commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of AV systems and network basics.
• Certifications from manufacturers (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair AV systems, including DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, projectors, and control systems.
• Replace and reconfigure faulty equipment; coordinate with manufacturers for support.
• Update firmware and adjust system configurations; perform preventive maintenance.
