Job summary

BravoTECH is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to implement, maintain and support enterprise AV systems across facilities. You'll work with conference rooms, event spaces, digital signage, and AV-over-IP networks to deliver reliable experiences for meetings and events.

The role requires hands-on configuring DSPs, control systems, and collaboration platforms; travel between sites may be required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in audiovisual technology, information technology, electronics, engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Three years of experience supporting professional AV systems.
• Experience with video conferencing and collaboration platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting audio, video, control, and network-related issues.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles.
• Knowledge of professional audio systems, signal flow, and digital signal processing concepts.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel between facilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support professional AV systems.
• Maintain conference room technology, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems.
• Support video conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and related technologies.
• Configure and maintain digital signal processors, amplifiers, wireless microphone systems, and audio networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, signal-flow, control, and network-related AV issues.
• Support AV-over-IP solutions and other networked audiovisual technologies.
• Program and maintain room control systems and user interfaces.
• Manage digital signage systems and content deployment.
• Participate in AV construction, renovation, and technology upgrade projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system testing, and health monitoring.
• Provide onsite AV support for executive meetings, special events, board meetings, training sessions, and presentations.
