Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Virtual Block Specialist I to support auction operations on-site at a Cox location. This part-time, 15–20 hour per week role collaborates with an auctioneer virtually and processes vehicle data, titles, and customer communications.

Responsibilities include recording bids, confirming details in AS400, and coordinating with client services contact center. Prior experience with AS400 and Salesforce is a plus; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stay focused during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Ability to lift 1–10 pounds.
• Vision including color and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Record lane and Simulcast bid amounts using the AS400 system.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to verify vehicle information.
• Verify run order and ensure correct vehicle is keyed and sold.
• Operate monitor and review Simulcast bids with the auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles; use Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests via phone, email, chat, and tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
