Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Virtual Block Specialist I to support auction operations on-site at a Cox Manheim location. This part-time role (approximately 15–20 hours per week) works Tuesday through Thursday and assists the auctioneer with bid verification and data entry.

Primary duties include recording bids in AS400, validating vehicle information, and communicating with customers via phone, email, and chat.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stay focused during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; lift 1–10 pounds.
• Vision abilities suitable for close/distance/color/depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Record lane and Simulcast bid amounts in AS400 and enter customer data.
• Verify sold vehicle information with the auctioneer.
• Ensure correct vehicle run order and accurate system data.
• Operate monitor remotely with the auctioneer to review bids.
• Provide arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles; use Salesforce for title-absent support.
• Coordinate with client services to respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
