Job Details

Newbury Living, a well-established and growing property management company, is seeking an assistant property manager/Leasing Agent for an apartment community in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market and lease apartments to maintain high occupancy rates
  • Process certification of income and assets for residents at move-in and annually in a timely manner
  • Monitor waitlist and follow procedures to update it
  • Adhere to fair housing laws and company policies
  • Provide professional resident relations
Qualifications
  • HUD and/or LIHTC property management experience preferred
  • 3+ years of apartment management experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and computer skills
  • Valid Iowa driver’s license and vehicle insurance required
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
