Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager for our multifamily communities in New York, NY. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and admin tasks to ensure vibrant residential communities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily or assistant PM, a NY real estate license (or plan to obtain within 120 days), and proficiency with Yardi, RentCafe, Elise AI, and MS Office. On-site presence and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily or assistant property management experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RentCafe, Elise AI) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between ownership and residents and draft communications.
• Manage lease administration, data entry, calendars, AP/AR processing.
• Prepare monthly reports and monitor delinquency below 0.5% of GPR.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out schedules and security deposits.
• Support PM with budget forecasting and vendor coordination.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and communicate issues to PM.
