Job summary

LG Electronics in Lexington, KY is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to deliver an exceptional home service experience for LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units. You will travel to customers' homes in the Lexington metro area to diagnose and repair LG equipment.

Our technicians represent LG with professionalism, documenting findings, handling paperwork, and supporting inventory management while meeting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning).
• Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document issues.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing and EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to repair LG equipment and ensure top performance.
• Use PPE and safety equipment, plus diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide on repair or parts replacement.
• Process paperwork and data entry upon completion of each job.
• Pre-screen next-day service calls by gathering necessary information.
• Meet or exceed company metrics for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
