Job summary

Power- is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the corporate office in Piperton, TN. This on-site, full-time role focuses on posting and reconciling vendor invoices, processing stock and drop-ship orders, and resolving discrepancies with PO and vendor data.

Required are an Associate degree in finance/accounting or equivalent, and at least two years of AP or general accounting experience preferred. Strong 10-Key, math, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10-Key, accounting, math and problem-solving abilities required.
• Strong communication, initiative and integrity expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Validate and post discount vendor invoices for payment.
• Validate and post all other vendor invoices for payment.
• Reconcile receiving and costing discrepancies with PO and vendor invoices.
• Work open receivers report and vendor statements as assigned.
• Process stock and drop ship orders.
• Troubleshoot complex discrepancies related to EDI, invoice discrepancies, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
