Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Magnolia Pointe, a 266-unit apartment community in Durham, NC. The role leads on-site operations, occupancy goals, and resident relations, ensuring a high standard of service and financial performance.

The position requires a 2-year degree (4-year preferred) and at least 3 years of multifamily property management experience, with familiarity in tax credit programs. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree (or equivalent) in a related field; four-year degree preferred.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Must be reliable with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to think independently, work with minimal supervision, and coach/mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Keeps daily operations running smoothly and may cover related duties to maintain curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Oversees staffing: orientation, training, performance reviews, and staffing decisions consistent with policy and law.
• Maintains resident relations, resolves issues, and promotes retention and satisfaction.
• Adheres to purchasing and accounting procedures; works within budget and flags deviations.
• Manages move-ins/move-outs, including inspections and chargebacks, per policy.
• Coordinates with staff and management to ensure timely lease signings and renewals.
