Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Magnolia Pointe, a 266-unit property in Durham, NC. You will manage day-to-day operations, maximize occupancy and resident retention, and lead staff to ensure a clean, compliant community.

Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential. You will supervise on-site personnel, coordinate with corporate staff and vendors, and uphold Dominium's policies while promoting a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in a related field or equivalent experience.
• ARM, COS, RAM or similar designation preferred.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) and ability to speak in front of groups.
• Must be reliable with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Maximize occupancy, collections, physical appearance, resident retention and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day operations and supervise on-site staff and contractors.
• Conduct staff orientation, training and performance reviews; manage hiring and terminations per policy.
• Resolve resident issues and maintain open communication with residents.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing procedures and adherence to applicable policies.
• Process move-ins/outs and lease signings; coordinate with housing programs as needed.
• Ensure property is well-maintained, safe and presentable at all times.
