Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for an on-site affordable housing community in Denver. You will oversee daily operations, leasing, maintenance coordination, and financial functions under the Community Manager, helping manage rent collection and cash flow while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will lead on-site staff, train and coach team members, monitor expenses, and support end-of-month closings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) preferred.
• Responsible for posting payments and income from applicants and residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist with budgeted revenues/expenses and Net Operating Income, and ensure proper month-end closings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Supervise on-site staff, leasing, maintenance, and compliance with policies and fair housing.
• Lead marketing strategies and resident retention programs.
• Manage rent collection, posting charges, and end-of-month reporting.
• Ensure staff training, safety, and OSHA requirements.
