Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Field Project Manager - Aerial Construction Specialist in Dayton, OH. The role leads on-site field operations, inspects work, guides crews, and ensures safety, schedule, and quality across telecom, power, and data center projects.

Ideal candidates will manage vendors, coordinate permits and locates, and drive project completion while maintaining high standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of aerial fiber construction and related design requirements.
• Ability to train, guide, and support field crews to improve efficiency.
• Proficiency reading maps, drawings, and diagrams relevant to fiber construction.
• Commitment to safety regulations and permit adherence.
• Willingness to travel as required based on crew locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect field work for quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with foremen, vendors, and management to review plans.
• Ensure crews have required certifications and equipment.
• Maintain daily reports, including production and QA/QC data.
• Represent the company on-site as operational leadership.
