Utilities One is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead on-site operations across telecom, power, water, and data center projects in the Detroit area. You will coordinate field teams, vendors and management to ensure safe, efficient project execution in line with approved plans.

The role requires strong field leadership, coordination with clients and jurisdictions, and adherence to construction standards and QA/QC processes, with opportunities for career growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction requirements.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safety in extreme weather.
• Ability to read maps, drawings and diagrams for fiber construction.
• Ability to travel to different job sites within the market.

Responsabilités

• Review projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing.
• Conduct pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate daily field needs, ensuring documentation and equipment readiness.
• Provide on-site leadership, oversee vendors and crews, maintain safety and compliance.
• Submit daily/project reports including EOS, damage reports, MOT updates, QA/QC.
• Communicate with management, clients, cities and jurisdictions on status.
• Support field crews through training and standard reinforcement.
• Escalate critical concerns to leadership when necessary.
