Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Field Project Manager - Aerial Construction Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN. You will lead on-site field execution, oversee crews (in-house and contractors), and ensure safety, efficiency, and alignment with client and company standards.

As the on-site operational leader, you will coordinate with vendors, manage inspections, provide training, and drive timely project completion while maintaining quality and compliance with approved plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews on aerial construction projects.
• Knowledge of permits, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to train crews and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Project Review & Pre-Construction Readiness: Conduct job site inspections to verify work quality, progress, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Daily Field Coordination & Vendor Oversight: Meet with foremen/vendors daily to review work plans and job sequencing.
• Field Execution, Quality & Compliance: Perform QA/QC checks, ensure restoration requirements, and confirm timely completion of production units.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Serve as the first-line problem solver for field challenges and coordinate field changes with engineering.
• Reporting & Documentation: Submit daily and project reports, keep systems updated, and ensure timely documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication & Representation: Communicate with management, clients, cities, and jurisdictions; represent the company on site.
