Job summary

Kaplan Early Learning Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to ensure timely voucher processing in PeopleSoft and accurate coding of expenses.

This on-site role requires detail-oriented individuals with 1 year of AP experience, strong data entry and Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with Purchasing and Operations to resolve discrepancies. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, in Winston-Salem area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with 10-key and basic to intermediate Excel.
• Strong data entry, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with AP and PeopleSoft is a plus.
• 1 year of general clerical experience with AP preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Match receiving reports to vendor invoices by quantity and price; resolve discrepancies with Purchasing/Operations.
• Authorize voucher payments and code expenses to the General Ledger COA.
• Route non-stock invoices for payment approval and follow up for timely payment.
• Post approved invoices to PeopleSoft as voucher payments.
• Respond professionally to inquiries about invoice payment status and resolve issues.
• Set up new vendor information in PeopleSoft and keep vendor records accurate.
