Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of accounts payable experience or degree in Accounting.
• Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures (GAAP).
• Degree in business/accounting is a plus.
• Must be task-oriented in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Attention to detail to catch data entry errors at entry time.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate and familiar with accounting software; Microsoft Navision.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Oral and written communication skills; interact with vendors and colleagues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong data entry skills.

Aufgaben

• Provides accurate data entry and processing of invoices with documentation and approvals.
• Follow approval hierarchy to ensure proper approvals before payment entry.
• Ensures timely payments to avoid late charges and provides payment confirmations.
• Pays invoices by obtaining authorizations, validating documentation and scheduling disbursements (checks, wires, electronic).
• Evaluates completeness and accuracy of invoices; corrects coding errors.
• Manages workflows to provide timely payment processing for vendors.
• Assists in year-end issuance of 1099s.
• Responds to internal and external inquiries about finance and account status.
• Filing and maintaining accurate invoice/pay item records for multiple entities.
• Pulls invoice copies from vendor profiles and processes intercompany entries.
• Monitors A/P aging for uncleared checks and pending payments.
