Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an accounting or ERP system preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Great Plains, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Enter invoices into the accounting/ERP system and maintain accurate records.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation when applicable.
• Prepare and process check, ACH, and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Maintain accurate vendor files and W-9 information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare AP reports and provide documentation for audits.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure invoices are processed according to payment terms.
• Identify duplicate invoices and help prevent payment errors.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and other year-end reporting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and vendor information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
