Empath Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance team in Palm Harbor, FL. This on-site role handles data entry, invoice processing, and timely payments with strong attention to approvals and GL coding.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year in high-volume AP, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with W-9/1099 rules; Dynamics GP experience is a plus. Join a mission-driven organization focused on Full Life Care.

Formación

• One year of direct processing experience in a high-volume AP dept with basic accruals and 3-way matching.
• Two or more years in AP are preferred for this role.
• Basic understanding of IRS Form W-9 and 1099 reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; additional Office apps preferred.
• Familiarity with Dynamics GP AP module and Unclaimed Property regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Route invoices/check requests with proper approvals and GL coding.
• Ensure timely payment per vendor terms and AP system rules.
• Prepare vouchered batches for posting to AP system.
• Research invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors.
• Maintain records for regulatory compliance including 1099 and Unclaimed Property.
