Job summary

Bush Ross is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team on site in Tampa. This full-time role manages a high volume of vendor invoices, check requests, and reimbursements in accordance with firm policies.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP experience, understands 1099 processing, and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail while meeting multiple deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with high volume accurate data entry.
• Thorough understanding of the 1099 process.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices, check requests and supporting documentation
• Electronic file uploads for client cost
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in an effective, efficient, and professional manner
• File monthly sales and use tax returns
• Balance sheet account and vendor statement reconciliations
• Process AP uploads from supporting financial systems and software
• Process Credit Card and Expense Reimbursement requests
• Setup and maintain all vendor accounts
• Produce ad hoc reports
• Special projects and additional duties as assigned
