Job summary

DOWL is seeking an Accounting Specialist for Corporate Shared Services in Reno, NV. The role supports invoicing, cash receipts, project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint, and collaboration with Project Managers to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.

The position offers a path for growth within a multifaceted firm with comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in accounting and experience in A/E/Construction environments.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of accounting experience.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly invoice and related reports.
• Assists Project Managers with client invoicing questions and collection.
• Researches cash receipts, coding, and posting of receipts.
• Assists Project Managers with project coordination to include system setup, project maintenance, and document management.
• Review monthly financial project reporting to ensure accuracy for revenue recognition and client invoicing.
• Provide back-up assistance to other accounting technicians.
• Assist with audit preparation.
• Other duties may be assigned.
