DOWL is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage a range of financial tasks including monthly invoicing, cash receipts, project reporting in Deltek Vantagepoint, and coordination with Project Managers to ensure timely billing and collections.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' accounting experience.
• Accounting degree preferred.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly invoice and related reports.
• Assists Project Managers with client invoicing questions and collection.
• Researches cash receipts, coding, and posting of receipts.
• Prepares remote bank deposit.
• Assists Project Managers with project coordination including system setup, maintenance, and document management.
• Reviews monthly financial project reporting for revenue recognition and invoicing accuracy.
• Provides back-up assistance to other accounting technicians.
• Assists with audit preparation.
