Job summary

DOWL's Finance & Accounting (Corporate Shared Services) team is seeking an Accounting Specialist to handle invoicing, cash receipts, and project reporting. The role supports both corporate operations and project needs, working closely with Project Managers to ensure billing accuracy and timely collections.

You will engage in system setup, project maintenance, and document management within Deltek Vantagepoint, contributing to accurate financial reporting and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in accounting.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly invoice and related reports.
• Assists Project Managers with client invoicing questions and collection.
• Researches cash receipts, coding, and posting of receipts.
• Assists Project Managers with project coordination including system setup and maintenance.
• Review monthly financial project reporting for revenue recognition and invoicing accuracy.
• Provide back-up assistance to other accounting technicians and assist with audit preparation.
