Job summary

JR Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role in Pittsburgh, PA. You will manage a small set of customer accounts, serving as the primary liaison from order entry through production and shipment, while learning the company’s glass manufacturing processes and capabilities.

You’ll review drawings and specifications, discuss requirements with customers, and collaborate with Engineering and Sales to determine feasible solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience in sales, account management, customer service, technical sales, equipment sales, manufacturing, or a related environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with a small group of established customer accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact from order entry through production and shipment.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to understand their needs.
• Help customers determine the best approach for their custom glass applications.
• Work with Engineering and Sales to determine what can be manufactured and how.
• Discuss dimensions, measurements, pricing, molds, and other product requirements with customers.
• Coordinate custom orders and keep customers updated throughout the process.
• Answer technical questions and provide solutions when challenges arise.
• Learn the company's unique products, manufacturing processes, and capabilities.
• Eventually participate in occasional customer visits and industry trade shows.
• Take drawings, ideas, or specifications and convert to manufacturable products.
