Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting partners with a long-established Pittsburgh glass manufacturer to recruit an entry-level Glass Applications Account Specialist. Based onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, you’ll train from the ground up and become the go-to resource for established customers.

This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer drawings and requirements, coordinating orders through production and shipment, and growing your knowledge of specialized glass applications without prior glass

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• Glass experience is not required.
• Willing to learn CRM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with a small group of established customer accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact from order entry through production and shipment.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to understand needs.
• Help customers determine the best approach for their custom glass application.
• Work with Engineering and Sales to determine what can be manufactured and how.
• Coordinate custom orders and keep customers updated throughout the process.
• Answer technical questions and provide solutions when challenges arise.
• Learn the company's products, manufacturing processes, and capabilities.
• Occasional customer visits and industry trade shows.

Education
