The State of Delaware is seeking a Telecommunications/Network Technician II who reports to the Manager of Application Support. This is the first-level support for mission-critical applications and infrastructure, operating at a service desk within the Information Technology Office.

The role requires on-site work with 24/7/365 support for critical systems and coordination with department staff and external vendors.

Formación

• At least one year experience administering computer data networks.
• At least one year experience installing, testing, and configuring computer data networks.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Configures, installs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and monitors operation of LAN hardware/software including desktop computers, data/voice/video communication systems, and peripheral devices.
• Provides customer service through the central service desk/help desk to resolve problem diagnoses and repairs.
• Plans, schedules, installs and tests software updates and hardware upgrades; coordinates network expansion with agency technical staff and vendors.
