Job summary

UPS is seeking a hands-on supervisor to manage service providers, ensuring safe, timely, and professional package delivery while maintaining high service quality. You will analyze workflows, coach teams, and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will coordinate with dispatch, center management, and business development to identify opportunities, drive customer satisfaction, and sustain mutual growth across the operation.

Qualifications

• Meets local age and license requirements.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Assesses business needs and defines project requirements.
• Health and safety knowledge for injury and crash prevention.
• Understanding of compliance regulations and risk reduction.
• Knowledge of small package operations and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily performance of service providers to ensure quality and safety.
• Completes audits during on-job supervision to ensure policy adherence.
• Uses Orion, PAS, Telematics to identify performance improvements.
• Communicates with customers to address service concerns and solutions.
• Uncovers business opportunities and forwards to appropriate departments.
• Encourages providers to identify volume development opportunities.
• Creates a customer-focused work environment and conveys needs to staff.
