Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth across our spirits portfolio in your territory. You’ll connect with vibrant on-premise accounts, spark events, tastings, and promotions to boost consumer engagement and sales.

You’ll apply data-driven insights to identify trends, guide customers, and collaborate with distributors and the internal team to meet KPIs and distribution goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; on-premise preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver volume objectives and new points of distribution.
• Demonstrated success using sales data analytics to drive results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions for growth to boost brand share across accounts.
• Build brands by educating customers on trends and opportunities.
• Lead distributors to support in-outlet selling and execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for the portfolio.
• Plan and execute programs driving distribution, merchandising, displays, and promotions.
• Develop mutual rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Coordinate with wholesalers and internal teams; monitor KPIs.
