Job summary

Markstein Sales Company is a fourth-generation, woman-owned wholesale beverage distributor based in Antioch, California, with a large portfolio of beers, wines, and spirits. The On-Premise Sales Representative will drive volume and revenue in Bars and Restaurant accounts within the Alameda County area, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years beverage or consumer product sales experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).

Responsibilities

• Sell and service assigned accounts to meet volume and revenue targets.
• Maintain inventory and write orders; introduce new items into distribution.
• Monitor price and space management inside accounts.
• Rotate stock and ensure quality control standards of all Markstein products.
• Build relationships and present professional sales presentations using sales history and pitchbooks.
• Utilize Point of Sale to increase volume and revenue.
