Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and/or experience required
• At least 2 years of sales experience required
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation software
• Strong verbal and written communication with diplomacy and customer service
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines
• Analytical and reporting skills; strong problem-solving ability
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Calls on accounts and covers daily routes with an established routing pattern
• Analyzes account base, visits accounts, and identifies opportunities for growth
• Delivers professional sales presentations balancing company priorities and customer needs
• Maintains product levels by stocking shelves where permitted
• Educates staff on priority brands through training seminars
• Manages receivables by processing credits/returns with accounts
• Delivers products and resolves customer issues and complaints
• Achieves sales and merchandising objectives
• Plans on pricing and product programming to meet monthly goals
• Monitors inventory levels and alerts management to demand changes
• Ensures brand visibility through POS materials
• Obtains payments and assists with new account openings
• Participates in supplier work with sales calls and blitzes
• Complies with safe handling of beverage alcohol and other duties as assigned
