Job summary

Schweitzer is hiring at Snowshoe Mountain to lead a high-volume kitchen team, ensuring safe, quality food production and adherence to standards. You will oversee up to 30 roles including Sous Chef and Line Cooks, recruit and train staff, and coordinate with the restaurant and resort teams.

We seek a strong leader with exceptional communication and customer service, capable of handling fast ticket times and shifting schedules. On-mountain housing and skiing perks apply.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of post-high school education preferred, culinary education desirable.
• West Virginia Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume kitchen with fast ticket times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations, control costs, and maintain our standards.
• Lead up to 30 kitchen positions including Sous Chef, Line Cooks, and Utility Workers.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop kitchen staff.
• Manage kitchen operations, quality, and admin functions.
• Foster good communication and relationships across Snowshoe Mountain.
