Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of On Field Operations to lead execution on the sales floor, coach teammates, and deliver an athlete-first shopping experience. You will manage priorities and ensure strong merchandising, pricing, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate product information and maintaining merchandising and signage standards.
• Help develop 30-60-90 day plans with store leadership to support department priorities and budgets.
• Communicate goals, assign workload, and optimize schedules to meet athlete traffic and payroll goals.
• Lead sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of direct reports while coaching and evaluating performance.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; hold teammates accountable for policy compliance.
