Job summary

Royal Farms in Broadlands, VA is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to manage all store operations while on duty and serve as the Person in Charge when a senior manager isn’t present. You will support customer service, product availability, food service execution, safety, and vendor relations to ensure a smooth, compliant shift.

You will coach and supervise team members, perform POS transactions, monitor cash controls, and uphold safety and store standards.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

Oversee shift operations as the Person in Charge (when a more senior leader is not present).
Perform shift operational tasks including POS transactions and cash control.
Oversee and hold team members accountable for policy, safety, and asset compliance.
Follow safety and security procedures to protect team members, customers, and company assets.
Lead food service and beverage execution, and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
Coach and supervise team members to deliver consistent, friendly service.
